November 1st was the day of Primary/Secondary Assembly. It was planned for November 5th first, but due to Parents Day, we rescheduled it to November 1st. The same day we had Fire Drill. It took us about 10 minutes to evacuate to the TOYOTA place safely.
Here are the activities we did this week during UoI, Math, Art.
UoI: At the moment we are focused on the second line of inquiry, Connection: How Quality of Life is Connected To Our Actions. The activities were around sharing our knowledge, experience and happiness with our classmates and how our classmates were affected. The idea is to find an area where a classmate needs support and help him/her. At the same this is our summative assessment.
Math: We had our monthly test on Thursday. The results were announced on Friday. Retest is planned on Monday. Questions will be similar to the previous test. Students always have a chance to upgrade the score.
Art: To support our unit, students tried to teach his/her partner how to draw a particular object, character, etc and see if lesson was well learned.
